BALTECH FG

The set of calibration gauges (gauge) is made of tampered stainless steel and brass. The measurement gauges BALTECH FG Series are intended to measure clearances in different fields, e.g. in motor-building, for adjustment of valve clearances, radial clearances in bearings and during alignment works (determination of half coupling gaps and «soft foot» type), etc. The set of gauges (gauge) are delivered in size 75, 100, 150, 200, 300, 500, 1000mm. We can also supply you with straps in thickness from 0.01 up to 2.0 mm for gauge making, as well as single measurement gauges upon request (with a holder). The measurement gauges can be cylindrical or taper. Advantages of the measurement gauges (gauge) BALTECH FG:

The set of calibration gauges (gauge) are normal gages in the form of calibration shims of a certain thickness. The gauges are used to control clearances between planes or deflected position detectors. The measurement gauges are necessary to measure very small distances (e.g. just thicker than a sheet of paper). The gauge can be flat or V-shaped. The gauge can be produced in the form of set of sheets in different thickness in a single holder. The gauge is used separately or in different combinations. The measurements are conducted based on the principle «is inserted- is not inserted».

The sheets are inserted one by one into a measured clearance till one of the sheets is inserted hardly and the next is not inserted at all. The V-shaped gauge is carefully moved to a clearance till it stops after which a thickness specified on the gauge front surface is recorded.
